Ok. now I get that you guys need to make a bit of money due to low populated servers.
But asking a LOT of coin from your current paying customers is not the way I'd of tackled your situation. so please let me explain.
Because there is a lack of real end game (in fact none really) - in order to get investment out of the time we put in is to seek out better quality gear/mounts. - now this is all good.
but here are a few things I'd really like the devs to consider. and ALSO the main reason why 40-50 People in our guild have left fro other games.
-Ellums. - These are your bread and butter in game currency that as a player cannot control the amount we earn.. i.e no farming (How it should be) - But, the cost of things with Ellums are way too much., so lets break it down.
Spire will get you ellums, + a few daily quests. Most you can earn a day is 20 Perhaps. (and less if you are not on premium) - and of course less still if you ont have the time to do all the daily's/spire/dungeons etc. - So lets take a average of 10 Ellums earn per day for argument sake.
--10 Ellums is nothing.. If you die it costs half of your daily allowance already!.. Please make it so the first death is free, 2nd death is 1 ellum, 2nd death is 2.. so on and so forth. seeing as you wont put checkpoints in dungeons its a bit of a annoying situation. and totally breaks gameplay. therefore a lot of wasting time/people get bored and eventually quit.
-- Cost of Tempering is crazy as it stands., even with all buffs you still fail more than you succeed. even with 170 stones. or even 30% or 50% stones.
Please make it so that IF you succeed it does not consume ellums. - Take the ellums if you fail sure. but you realise 25 Ellums each time you try and make a small difference to your build is too much considering the daily limit too.. Make it hard sure. just dont make it impossible please. - this needs looking into.
Transcending is the same. - The stones to use are VERY expensive. and very rare to get hold off. - then plus you need a adequate armour piece to use for it.. and as a result it ends up in failure.
So The end burning point here.
-Fix Dungeon Checkpoints please OR fix ellum use on death.
-DONT let the game consume ellums on Success of temper
-Please up the Success rate of Transending
-Fix the LOOT in dungeons, RnG is bad enough, but Give us something to fight for, other than fracture please!! we are all grown up and out of elite/heroic gear

I manged to get 2 pieces from 12 to 18 with the server temper boost, talisman and paid for booster. + spire boost + rings using 170 Stones that I collected/paid for.
Transcending I managed to tranced 2 peices to +2 only. - Waste of time.
So you do the math.. for people to really upgrade the cost of things are ridiculous.
People dont want to play dungeons anymore because it costs too much in time/effort/ellums
Checkpoints. END boss on Forgoton Shrine used in this example. - team of 4. Running H3.
One person dies.. re-spawns at start.. its a exactly 3 min 21 secs walk back. now.. mostly when one dies other follows. so spread the time out. on average wait time we counted as 7 mins before repeat fight.. or untill the deaths start over and another 7 mins downtime. so on and so forth. - People just want to play, fight and have fun. this is NOT FUN I TELL YOU.
All you gotta do is apply simple fixes.. and you are guaranteed a lot more customers. I DO not see the logic in the things you do. apart from frustrate people/drive them away.
So, Please for the love of god listen to your customers. to make this game what it should be!,, GREAT!
