As all of us Priests know, the amount of HP we heal is exclusively dependent on the target's Max HP, and only the target's Max HP. No amount of Int or Will can affect the healing amount, and this honestly bugs me. If the Priest is doing everything right, using their DoTs and marks effectively and everything, and yet the damage is simply far too much to handle, there's really nothing that can be done on the Priest's end to help improve their healing. According to what I've been hearing, this is apparently the case in the Frost Keep, as Priests are having a hard time keeping their tank/party healed during the final fight, even when using all their abilities correctly.
People have been suggesting to change the healing mechanics so that they go off the Priest's Intelligence instead of the target's Max HP, or maybe even some combination of the two. This is a change I'd personally like to push for, since I would really like to be able to improve how much I heal, even if it's only slightly. What do you guys think?
