Some familiars are regular size, yet some who are Elite, are bigger, scarier and have a different and interesting texture or effect.
While taming these beasts, you definitely feel like you are taming something bigger and stronger given that it keeps its size even after you jump on its back to tame it, however after successfully taming the creature, it shrinks down.
There is a game mechanic in place where tamed familiars scale down in size in relation to your player size, but this feature needs to go away and never come back.
This seriously ruins immersion for me and my friends and so we would like the Familiars who have this issue to be returned to their larger and more impressive size that you find them at and at which it stays during the taming process.
Some examples are: Bakkhus and Trutan, and this issue with bears and the small size of pets(which i agree with) has already been brought up, but I have noticed some others who are not bears who have this issue too to varying degrees and I would like to make sure this issue is made aware of and tested for more than just bears.
For familiars with this scaling issue, once riding the tamed familiar, instead of sitting on the back of a large creature, you instead hover a little above the now shrunken creature.
Thank you for your time reading, and please fix this!
Edit: Due to crowfan's comment I would like to add that with larger familiars blocking npc's and other tameable creatures, it might be a good idea to have them be hidden or at half opacity when within a 2-5meter radius of an npc or tameable creature?
