Another use for Shiny Fishing Marks?

Since the repeatable quest is limited to 50x, is there something else that can be integrated into the vendor so that way we don't end up with a ton of useless marks? I'm currently sitting on 400 of these things and can only use 20 a day.

Perhaps make the repeatable quest unlimited instead of just 50?

Fish Bait wizard title is pretty bad.
Maybe add +10% Rare Drop Chance to make it better?
It is a heroic title after all and should have 3 stats.

you gotta do something with it
whatever it is the "normal" chances in the game its nowhere near what the word normal means. Make it look like a slot machine or roulette that would spin and lock down the actual chances number when the progress bar reaches 100%

failing 10 tempers in a row with "normal" chances is not normal
spending 45 elluns to temper an elite lv25 piece of armor to +15 just to get 30 elluns reward is nowhere normal as lv55 char and using 125-135-145 stones with "normal" chances

and this is everywhere in the game.

Hello, I would like to ask, why you don't giving possibility to add more sockets to exalted armor... maybe to buy some stamps with cash, or in event... 1 per month. Now I have perfect set 3x legendary "46", with intelligence in all parts +15. To stay in your game just to make 10 same items that get 1 with 3x and with no stats, what I would need, well... Passed few months and its not interesting, and not attractive... For me its just this "little" problem to even start to believe that its even possible, got great item from month login with 2x and intelligence and can't do anything with it... My 10 levels lower but 3x and are better that this one, something wrong to put efforts to nothing....

So I got like 20 of heroic seal tokens from fishing in elloras. The item that let's one change the stats of an already sealed familiar.

And I got poor stats full grown Caspert seal
poor seal means I got attack under 100 and all stats at 19
Top stats for Caspert seal are 114 M attack and 24 all attributes

So I used all my heroic seal tokens just to realize that there are only two kinds of seal I could get with it:
its either all stats below 20 and attack around 110
or all stats 22-23 and attack around 100

Also I could get both stats low at some points
I've never seen stats like 110-114 and 23-24 combined at the same time with 20 attempts

Now I'd like GMs (or at least @CuddleWings) to attempt to give me a reason to enjoy the game with this outcome. I really think that games are designed to enjoy them.
Please let me know if you're specifically tuning this game so players feel miserable all the time and I will not open more topics and you can have some rest.

From what I see currently all the activities presented in this game do not give any reward even after 20 tries.

I've fished for some more heroic tokens and going to create some screenshots this time. I'll be very surprised to see a roll that gives 110+ and 23+ stats on a Caspert seal.

Illusion Gear Give-away: Worth even taking?

I just finished doing this last update on all but my new character, trickster. I capped them all to 60, but here's what i just noticed. The gear that was a reward for completing story-line pretty much was kinda worthless for a change. Illusion. Heroic no less.

I noticed that not only could you not enhance it, that you also couldn't extract from it as well. My old Karasha gear maybe upgraded to 6 was better in stats that what they offered to those finishing the quests. (Yes, i still have it, getting the seals off as i can afford, found it's easier and cheaper to buy them new and use a tool later, then resell my old ones.)

To not be able to use it at all for the extracted tempering stones...well it seems like they are getting stingy in rewards that are meant for F2P. Unless they're assuming that most people at this point will have better and just NPC it like i did. Well that assumption kinda defeats the purpose of leveling a character quickly so you can get the Elluns offered for doing so. (The Event: Rabbini's Letter.)

Well i never assume...it tends to make and ass of you and me, both.

I was able to finish this with no trouble even using my old Karasha tempered to 10 on one character. (i got lazy and decided to wait and see about buying Exalted Wrath after i finished. :p ) Just to see if i could complete this and how hard it was.

It wasn't, not really. Yes it was challenging but not impossible unless maybe you were stuck with this gear they gave you as reward because you were F2P and thought it was game level suitable.

Brought to mind the stuff they give you when you create a new character in that you can't seal it, refine it or even extract it at all. Oh, It's OK for the beginner, but later on you can get better for less money and stop using the blasted heroic boxes you're given.

I guess what I'm driving at is why bother giving it away. It's maybe more a slap in the face than a reward. Looking back, i would much prefer to have tempering stones or even EXP pots as rewards for completion than something that's not even worth anything from the NPC"s, let alone having it take up space in my inventory. If you have any thoughts on this, feel free to post them.

And no. this is not a rant. it's pure feedback. :D

As a paying customer I request all reward changes to be public and available to me to understand rewards for the time invested.

Please put this on your backlog with the highest priority and severity.

I honestly despise all of the ROI management for silent changes you always do to the player's worst and all the hype around little changes to the good.
Don't think you care about my feelings to you though, not even sure you would have enough guts to keep this post up here.

I'm referring to things like breach key pieces drops and ToS reward chests number being decreased for no obvious reason at all. Like none of the mini bosses in dungeons dropping worthy loot. Like elite drops in legendary dungeons. Like like like...
well, sleep well and drive safely

Was it necessary to ruin the one and only world boss which was worth to kill? I mean about lowering Sandstorms gold drop with 66%???? This was the only world boss which was killed on a daily basis. Because it was worthy. You just made players stop killing it, because since this "update", nobody does it anymore. The Superior Chest gives you now 60 gold, instead of 180. That is not worthy anymore. I just wonder why you made people stop playing the game. I mean this part of the game. That was a horrible decision and you ruined a good thing, I cant see the point behind this.

Please put bound forest items in with the exalted at the merchant outside of bastion. An item still illusdes me dispute excessive running before reset each day its nothing to have 2 more locks left before reset. I've gotten elders, exalted, multiple times but no forest very high weapon. I don't need the exalted. Can you add forest boxes.

First of all, what good is it to implement a gold sink if you make the item to use said gold sink so scarce that the price per each is 500g+, with some people even asking upwards of 1,000 gold for a single one that will most likely not even give you the desired result ?
I mean seriously. It's a gold sink, but rendered useless considering how low probability it is to gain the items. Before anyone even brings it up, the fact you can get one from a world boss doesn't mean anything, especially when world bosses are controlled by a small group of people, at least the new mini-world bosses. Not sure if they drop from those, but I'm willing to bet they do, however, it does the general population no good, considering those seem to be camped by raids every hour, every day, but I digress.

The frequency of these things dropping in Lv. 40, 50 legendary dungeons needs to be turned up significantly. The results of using them is such garbage, that it doesn't justify it's scarcity/outrageous price per each on the market! For example, a while back the last time I played with these armor refiners, the 9th time trying it "refined" the item back to what I began with, then the 10th just swapped positions of the 2 stats! Complete garbage! Between the player market cost and the NPC cost, in addition the Ellun cost we should be able to pick the stats for each line.

The same can be said about the weapon refiners, though it's slightly different considering people only have 1-2 weapons, where as everyone has 5 pieces of armor and an offhand that, for what ever reason, is considered an armor piece.

It's great they are in the monthly log in npc shop.. but 3 writs for 1 ? Give me a break! With the results you will most likely get, they should only be 1 for 1.


Just so you guys are fully aware, It's little things like this that are killing this game slowly. I think it's safe to say that working on your gear set for an excessive amount of time is not fun for probably 90% of the player bases. Sure, there is some level of satisfaction, and a sense of accomplishment when you continually strive to get it polished just right, but it's a very, very fine line, especially when you know (if you've had any level of experience with KR mmos) that a new gear set is always around the corner.

With out getting over complicated, my simple suggests to remedy this very frustrating issue would be to either 1 to 3 of the choices I've attached to this poll. If it was up to me, I'd scrap the whole system and rebuild it from the ground up, taking inspiration from some of the more competent refining systems in other games... Anyway:

Hi.

I and some others already have been talking about this, for like 2-3 weeks in RoI's discord server. Based on the fact i feel that nothing will change via discord, i decided to make this thread. Also it will be easier for people to find it.

So here is the issue. That world boss seems to drop loot to whoever does the first hit. Also, even if only 1 party/raid kills it, it will drop only one box. But the major issue is that it drops loot to whoever does the first hit. Everyone needs those recipes for the new skill for each class. All the devs need to understand that the server doesn't have only 10 players, but more. Every time it ends up people get angry and toxic against the other party/raid due to this issue. And all that is because of the devs, who designed Heretic in such a way.

Will the developers finally fix this issue? Is your plan to make the game in such a way so to make the players angry? Or make the players enjoy it? CuddleWings you said in RoI's discord that Heretic is meant to be just a 10 man boss. Also you said that you are still discussing this based on the feedback from the community. For 2-3 weeks you discuss about it and yet nothing? How much more discussion is it required to end up that the server has more than 10 players and all need those recipes? Do you think it's funny players be tilted every time we go for Heretic? Are the developers having fun with that?

I don't know about you guys but the game has gotten quite stale despite the recently released content. I'm finding that more and more of our guild members are "taking time off" from the game after having completed Elder's Bastion Heroic a few times and I can't really blame them...

1) It only takes a few hours to level from 55-60 after which most players are stuck farming Elder's Bastion.
2) Heretic (as mentioned in another thread) only gives out one box which pretty much prevents 99% of the server from participation.
3) The mini-world bosses are on camp so unless you really enjoy sitting at a spawn point for hours on end with nothing to do, this isn't exactly considered a fun activity.
4) Fractura...well its fractura. It was farmed before this last update and farming isn't considered a very fun activity in MMO's.
5) Spire only allows us to run once per day so despite having 40 lvls, there's not much to do there either.
6) Rabbini Cave although enjoyable only lasts a few mins.
7) Trickster alt...sure you can redo 1-60 on an alt but not everyone wants to lvl up another toon. Even then, after reaching 60 (which quite a few players have already done) there's a lack of things to do.

So I asking the dev's: What is in store in the very near future for the majority of max lvl players?

More Dungeons? More Raids? More stuff to kill/conquer? And how soon?

Fix the Divine Karasha Outfit's Hat

When the outfit's worn by males, it's essentially just a recolor of the priest's Karasha set, which is fine, but there's a small issue that's probably gone unnoticed, or no one cares about it.

When a male priest wears the regular Karasha set, layers of hair are removed so that the hat doesn't cut into the hair (I'm not sure if it's like that for all hairstyles though). Those layers, however, aren't removed when the Divine Karasha Outfit is equipped, so the hat cuts into the hair and looks awful.

I know this is a really small issue, but I really feel like the outfit is a waste of Elluns as is, at least for me. I'd love to see this changed.

Stat Limit Break Traes vs Aidus/Tishanan/MagTorkai

I noticed a good portion of the Riders community is disappointed by the Stat Limit Break passive of Aidus, Tishanan, and Magma Torkai. Instead of following Traes' passive of Stat Limit Break increased by 3%, it is Stat Limit Break increased by 5. All the new mounts are lvl60 and I believe they should surpass the stats of previous mounts, and their Stat Limit Break should be +5% rather than just +5.

I play some time and I like the system of mounts and the concept of the game, but I'm here crying out for changes, listen to me developers, let's go, motives that will make the game abandoned, a simple MOB has the strength of the hero, Making a simple quest to kill 20 enemies become slow and extremely annoying, level up in the game and extremely tiring, difficulty level dungeons and totally acceptable plus you bump with a simple rabbit in the middle of the map and stay 10 minutes killing and A bag and tiring, all the quests are repetitive, kill 20 enemies, kill 15, now kill 10, anyway, and that's it? Quests that no one else wants to do, tamming potions that do not work, summarizing, please developers, reduce the difficulty of high level mobs, for example, a level 55 char takes 20 minutes to kill 5 mobs of the same level and still at risk Of dying while other games of the same genre as Black Desert you join 5, 6 and kill all at once, make the game fun and not tiresome, do not create quests with difficulty absurd and yes accessible so that the players take pleasure in doing it again And do not abandon the game as I left, I do not feel like climbing to level 60 because it is very boring and tiring with very repetitive quests, please review your concepts before the game goes bankrupt, thanks for the attention.

@Cuddlewings just wondering about the shiny fishing marks. iv got over 1500 or so and theres no way i can use all of them by the time the event is over. so was there going to be some way we can use them before the event is over? people were saying there was going to something added to help but havent seen anything. i would sure like to use them for more manic's lucky box or full growth poitions. so please let us know ty.

since the august booster thread seems to be entirely about the new servers i am starting a thread here for rabbini, so he doesn't get lost

first of all, i really liked the last rabbini event, after gms gave it a fix by sending us op carrot bombs to take him down in ~10 minutes

in new version, i like the side quest for hunting the minion bunnies, BUT there was a group of about a dozen of us & it was taking the old 45 minutes to kill rabbini - i thought his hp or defense was taken down for this event??? (he has a self healing skill too)

also, by making rewards for killing Rabbini daily instead of repeatable there is ZERO incentive for players to go back one they have done that quest for the day.

the minions drop ONE bomb when they die, but of course once you have done the repeatable quest (maximum 15 op bombs) u can go back & try doing it again, but will prolly need to wait for the next hour rabbini spawn to get fresh minions .

BTW - THANK YOU for making the minions quest makred so that they are #1 easy to find, & #2 can't be killed just for their bombs, but only targetable when the player has the quest activated
